Lynn Valk of the Husqvarna SKS Racing NL team scored a podium finish at the Womens Open Dutch Championship event in Reusel. Valk won the first race, and was second in the final heat, for second overall.
The sandy track of Reusel was well prepared and Lynn immediately found her flow, claiming pole position. In the first race, she got the holeshot, and from then on there was no stopping her. She won the heat comfortably.
Another good start in the second race got Lynn into third spot off the gate. She quickly moved to second and had good speed on display. She exerted pressure on the race leader, but just could not make the pass.
Lynn’s race win and second place earned her a podium call up for second overall.
