Lynn Valk of the Husqvarna SKS Racing NL team won the first round of the Ladies Motocross European championship motocross series in Lithuania. The lady from Nijverdal won both heats on her Husqvarna FC250 for a full haul of points.

Valk’s weekend started off on the right note when she qualified in pole position after a number of fast laps. Conditions turned torrid before the qualifying heat, with the rain pouring down. Lynn kept a steady pace, and won the qualifying heat.

Lynn continued along the path of good form during Sunday’s warm-up, and this gave her confidence an extra boost, “I did not have good starts in either heats, but I quickly slotted into a good rhythm. I rode smartly, and won both heats, which gave me the overall victory. I enjoyed the first round of the European championship series, and look forward to the rest of the championship races.’’

The Husqvarna SKS Racing NL team will now prepare themselves for the opening round of the EMX125 Series in Matterley Basin, Great Britain!
